Production rates are defined by rate rules. The rate rules can be broad or narrow, they can apply to all linesLines, a specific lineLine, a filter for a group of similar linesLines, a materialMaterial, or any combination of these entries.
If the rate rules are broad, and only defined by organization Organization or by lineLine, it may be easy to create them directly in Phenix, rather than importing. In the example below, line Paper1 runs all materials at 120 kg per minute.However . However, if the rates are specific to materials or combinations of materials and lines, they are best imported from other sources a file using the Import feature (see the How-To article Import Data for more information on the import process).
