Phenix Organization Structure

A Phenix Organization is made up of Sites, Areas, and Lines.  Additionally, there are Line Groups and Resources. See the work instructions for Maintain Organizations, Maintain Sites, and Maintain Lines, Line Types, and Attributes for more information.

  • Sites are the production plants within an organization

    • Line Groups allow for planning of resources shared within the Group and allocations., as well as easy visualization of related lines.

    • Resources are additional equipment or labor required for the production of certain products.

    • Areas allow for grouping of similar production lines. For example, in the screenshot below, the Appleton paper site has two areas, Converting and Papermaking.

      • Lines are the individual production lines.  The Converting area of Appleton Paper has slitting, sheeting, and packing lines.
